Nokia is giving tablets another try with their N1 tablet, launching early next year. It boasts a 7.9-inch display (4:3 aspect ratio), 2.4GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core CPU (64-bit), 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Additionally, it features the new reversible, USB type-C port. All of this is packed into a metal body (that undoubtedly looks a lot like an iPad mini) with a $249 price tag. Lastly, it runs Android 5.0, so there’s no need to worry about when you’ll get the latest version of the OS. I’ve seen generic, unbranded tablets that look very similar to this at CES, so I’m wondering if this is just a generic tablet with Nokia’s logo and software customizations slapped onto it. If you want one, those in China can get it sometime in February, with a launch in Russia to follow shortly after. Full specs and other details can be found at the N1’s product landing page.
