LG’s flagship Optimus G Pro to be released stateside in Q2

Thanks to a bit of Google Translate magic, we now have confirmation that LG’s 5.5″ flagship smartphone, the Optimus G Pro, will get its stateside debut in Q2 of this year. TechCrunch describes this phone on paper as a “spec’s busting affair” and that certainly is the case, considering it has a 1920×1080 display with 400ppi! Other internal specs include a 1.7GHz quad-core CPU and LTE support (no word on RAM). In terms of the OS, it will be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with LG’s custom/skinned UI running on top of that. The South Korean launch is happening this week, which you can read more about here.
