If you’re an AT&T customer who wishes that you could have more than 5GB of data per month, you can starting this Friday. You will now have the option to have 30GB, 40GB, or 50GB of data per month for $300, $400, and $500 per month, respectively, which equates to $10 per GB. You’ll also need to pay up to $30 per device, depending on the type of device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
While AT&T is trying to offer their users more options, they’re also adding to their already rip-off mobile data plans, policies, and prices. In the end, this is making both T-Mobile and Sprint look real good right about now, both carriers of which offer unlimited everything at reasonable prices with reasonable performance.
