A screen protector is essential for any device to keep its display free of any scratches. They can also reduce the amount of fingerprints and glare that you’d see. For the Samsung Galaxy S4, Tech Armor’s set of anti-glare & anti-fingerprint screen protectors are excellent for the money.

They’re priced at just $6.95 for a pack of 3 from Tech Armor’s website. You can save a buck and get Prime shipping (assuming you’re a Prime member) from Amazon.
Included in the packaging is everything you need to have a successful screen protector installation. This includes the screen shields themselves, 4 pieces of “dust removal tape,” a microfiber cloth, a squeegee, and some instructions.
Installation is a breeze, but keep in mind that the key to a correct installation of a screen protector is to take your time, and try and again if things are too misaligned. Don’t worry much about the bubbles or debris that might be left under the screen shield, since you can use the dust removal tape (or any type of tape, for that matter) to lift the film up to grab the piece(s) of debris.
Tech Armor’s films are cut very well to fit the Galaxy S4 perfectly, as well as the home button at the bottom. To compensate for the earpiece, sensors and front-facing camera at the top of the phone, they opted to go for one long cutout. Luckily, it’s not that tall, so you won’t risk much damage up in that area. Nevertheless, the results should be great.
In terms of reducing glare, these screen shields obviously do that. Generally, with anti-glare screen shields, they double at reducing fingerprints, which is also evident here. One thing to note, that many might not enjoy, is that the display clarity is reduced a bit. I’ve personally been a fan of these types of screen protectors for a long time, so it’s something that hasn’t bothered me in years.
Should you be looking for anti-glare/anti-fingerprint screen protectors for your device, whether it’s the Galaxy S4 or something else, Tech Armor’s selection, pricing and simplicity is hard to pass up. Thanks to the value/affordability, picking up a pack of these screen protectors really is a no-brainer.
