Originally set for release at the end of 2012 was EA’s Real Racing 3, their next big step in mobile racing games. The game saw a delay, as they wanted to make sure that the title was just right (seems common for games nowadays). Today, we now know the release date which is, as you can tell by the title of this post, the 28th of February, a Thursday at that. Even more interesting is the fact that it will be a “free-to-play” game, meaning you’ll be able to play it for absolutely nothing, but can pay some money to unlock certain elements, such as cars and/or tracks, a bit quicker. According to CNET, “EA has promised that no part of the game is locked out for players who don’t choose to spend money.” It’s also said that the game will feature 900 racing events, so it could take a while to unlock that Dodge Challenger that you’ve been wanting to have since day one.
