Vizio is no newcomer when it comes to making tablets, with their 8-inch VTAB1008 hitting store shelves in the middle of 2011. Their latest tablet steps things up quite a bit. While more information is to be expected at CES, the Vizio Tablet PC features a 1GHz AMD Z60 CPU with a Radeon HD 6250 GPU, an 11.6-inch 1920×1080 display, 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, micro HDMI and micro USB. Due to the AMD Z60 with its integrated Radeon HD 6250 GPU, gaming performance is much faster compared to other x86-based Windows 8 tablets. Likewise, because it has an x86 architecture, rather than ARM, all existing Windows applications will run on this tablet. Again, pricing, availability, and more information should be available later this week.
