Apple has just released iOS 6 beta 5 to developers with a build number of 10B141, just over a month since the previous beta, which is set to expire this Monday. Because of this, many users have been expecting the final version of iOS 6.1 to be released, but that has not been the case. The list of changes are unknown at this time, as the iOS 6.1 beta 5 changelog has not been posted. Perhaps it’s just a small update to change the expiration date? It’s too early to tell. We’ll post updates here and on Twitter when they’re available.
Update: It appears as though, via the build number, that beta 5 might actually be a potential GM build. Given developer feedback, we could see this being released to the public early next week, which would all be great for the upcoming jailbreak.
