Microsoft sells 1 million Xbox Ones in less than 24 hours

Similar to the news announced by Sony on Monday, Microsoft has said that “the launch of Xbox One was the biggest launch in Xbox history, with more than one million consoles sold through worldwide in less than 24 hours,” which is considering sales in only the U.S. and Canada. Also similar comes the number of to-be-expected day-one complaints, including dead units out of the box and broken disc drives. That didn’t keep those with working units from enjoying what it had to offer, as Microsoft made note that “over 60 million zombies have been killed in Dead Rising 3, over 3.6 million miles driven in Forza Motorsport 5, over 7.1 million combos in Killer Instinct, and over 8.5 million enemies defeated in Ryse: Son of Rome.”
