AMD slashes price of 7990 by $200, still includes 8 games

When it comes to dual-GPUs, AMD’s Radeon HD 7990 is still one of the best, especially given its price and excellent multi-monitor support. Prices for these cards have recently dropped by $200, from nearly $1,000 to between $700 and $800. Some include rebates, such as the SAPPHIRE version, which is just $699.99 after a $20 MIR. Even better, AMD’s 8-game Never Settle: Ultimate Reload bundle still applies to most of the 7990s. The games included are BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Crysis 3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Far Cry 3, and Deus Ex Human Revolution. According to Maximum PC, the 7990 “stacked up well against Nvidia’s dual-GPU GTX 690 card and the uber powerful GTX Titan,” giving the 7990 an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
