I don’t think a swap will do anything, as all display units I’ve used also have the coil whine. Could’ve been luck, but seems too coincidental.

Also – HP Support Assistant is very heavy on CPU cycles, even long after all updates have been done. I doubled the battery life just by uninstalling the HP Support Assistant.

Fantastic looking machine that operates well. HP are going to swap out the machine due to the coil whine but in the mean time, I only use it on battery power and charge it in a spare room away from any life form 🙂
